For most people, genital warts symptoms develop within weeks or months of initial infection. The most common symptoms are moist, soft, or flesh-colored swellings that generally occur in or around the vagina or anus and on the cervix, vulva, penis, scrotum, or thigh. Other symptoms of genital warts include pain, discomfort, burning, and itching.
